Product lifecycle is a key principle of the RLC supply chain management approach.RLC Engineering Group understands the demands of each phase in the product lifecycle and particularly the need to separate volume manufacture from the requirements of the aftermarket.

We have established a dedicated manufacturing cell to deliver stranger & alien products to support legacy ejection seat products in our Langford Lodge facility. In the declining phase of the product lifecycle, the primary driver is around product availability rather than cost. For this reason, along with the sourcing challenges and associated lead-times, there is a strong project management emphasis in managing stranger & alien manufacturing effectively.
